Guys,

I am working with Alu-Cab on possible shipment of side access panels for the 100 series from South Africa.

He is confirming pricing now. We would get a discount for 15 ordered. Sold per side.

Please respond to the group buy with the price point that you would be interested.

$500 for 1 with shipping
$750 for 1 with shipping

Not looking to make money, just facilitate the transaction and shipping once in the USA.

I see the following uses:
Access to items close to back seat with out opening door and folding seat down
Access to possible mounted fridge
Access to rear on trucks with rear bumper mounted spare, that way you can access without opening the swing out
Access to items deep in cargo area. When the tailgate is down, the reach to the very back of the cargo area is hard to reach. When the truck is lifted even more difficult.

Overall access to the rear cargo area would be improved.

Nicely made and can understand the usefulness. But they make a Land Cruiser look like a service truck.

^ I agree with the utilitarian look. Makes me think the cable guy is on my street.

On another note: is that a light inside at the top of the panel door? I see wiring and what looks like a light bar.

$1500.00 for 2 poorly made panels with exposed screw heads and door hinges? lol

just go down to your local commercial truck dealer and have them made flush for cheaper. These don't look utilitarian, unless you think a pile of steeming poo has a utilitarial feel. They look Micky Mouse.

I would hit up wagongear some more. Most elegant and local solution.

Emuwing says they've had their LC100 version under development for the past year. They offer their 80 series version in both aluminum and safety glass.

I realize drilling holes in glass can be difficult. Perhaps a 1/2 glass version would fit the bill.

Some people are replacing the OE hinges (and latch) to allow the window to extend out further, in the original swing out manner. But I haven't seen it perfected yet.
