Maybe I missed this on one of the many pages - do we have any clue at all how many of these Series 80 hand throttles are floating around in the Toyota parts system? Is there any way to find out?

I am number 139 and I am kinda wondering if I will ever actually see one....

No one have clue how many will be available. They are actually being produced by the 3rd party company for Toyota as we speak. So as soon they pop up in any big Toyota parts warehouses in the world i get them ordered right away.

We are right now at #69 and i never expected to be able to source any amount of these sets even close to 69. I would say you have all chances to get your set this year, maybe even at end of the summer; you never know, it is gamble. You just have to wait and pray that all members in front off you will drop out.

Sooooo..... is there any way for you to contact the manufacturer and bypass the Toyota system entirely? Maybe you could place an order for say 100 cables at one time

The problem with this idea is that you would have to make everyone prepay and wait until you had enough cash for a huge one time order, but the flip side of the coin is that the cables would probably be a lot cheaper that way.

I'm not trying to be pushy ... well ... maybe a little .... but it does seem as if you know a lot about this stuff, and I am exploring your limits. Have I exceeded them yet?

UPDATE: It is the first bad update i have to make.

PayPal froze all my funds in my gmail.com account for next 6 month. ************************************************************************************************

I need money to pay for next purchase of hand throttles and other parts.

Only few things i am allowed to do with my paypal funds is to issue refund or add more money from my bank to paypal.

So i hope you guys will understand and will be able to help me out.

I will contact everybody who sent money to me between Apr 4-19, 2012.

I will issue refund today to people who's parts haven't been shipped yet and will send payment instructions by pm within a day.

I will have to request other people who's parts have been shipped to send money to my other paypal account and as soon as i get money i will refund money from my gmail.com right away from my smartphone. If you would like to call me or email me please feel free to pm for my contact information.

Sorry guys for inconvenience, but this cross border paypal thing is messed up. I spent 2 hours on the phone with paypal for nothing and they even seen this group buy

No, it is still ON, I just need a help of people who sent money in April to resent money to other account and i will refund from my frozen account as it is only thing i can do with this money. Otherwise i will have to suck it up and have frozen balance for 6 month. Worth come to worth i will have to invest my personal money again for the next shipments.

I have right now 11 sets waiting to be shipped to me from overseas. So group buys is still on until Toyota will stop producing Hand Throttles.
