I was there!

2 wheel dyno before and after will work too but I'm mostly interested in gains with the stock muffler in place. As in isolating just that one change... the headers.

Nick just called and took my info and CC number. Now I gotta find a decent mechanic for the install.

I just got a set as well.

Going to stop by the shop to pick up a set in person sometime this week. Anyone got theirs installed yet?

Got mine coming. FYI for those on the fence: This group buy price is $560 + S/H. Better get them while they're discounted folks!

Nick also stated we can expect less heat in the engine bay compared to stock exhaust manifolds. And they are supposed to be 'direct bolt up at the engine and CATs without any mods required'.

Thanks again uzj100 for getting this dealio in motion. Ditto that to DesertRun for providing the donor rig. And anyone else that had a hand in pushing this over the top!

You are welcome! Real thanks goes to DesertRun for the donor rig.

It only took 9 months.

I am ready for someone to install them and report back (with pictures!).

Glad to see this coming through!

(I would think that disconnecting the front prop shaft and doing a 2 wheel dyno test would tell all about the relative increase, no?)

Thanks, but we all want for these to get installed on some trucks and then hear some real world feedback. Should be soon.

I'm in! Just got mine ordered, should be at the house early next week! $560 baby!

For those wondering, I asked about re-using the gasket and Nick says unless the OEM gasket has obvious damage (Nick says this is very rare with the Toyota gaskets) that we're OK reusing them. He supplies new collector hardware, but he suggests re-using factory studs with the application of an anti-seize on the threads.

So hopefully, I can get the driver's side in without breaking a knuckle!

Sweet. I got an email from Nick that all headers have shipped.

Mine are scheduled to arrive on Friday, August 27th.

WOW! They look very nice! Mine should be here soon- like maybe today. I am really anxious to hear from someone who has them installed- probably going to be a while for me. Thanks to all who worked to make this happen.

They're here.

Sweet, thanks for posting!
Are there gaskets in there or do we need to source some? (for the price I'll happily get my own, just an honest question).
Thanks,

I think we reuse our existing gaskets.

Now we need to figure a way to get more air in so this engine can come to life!

Thanks,

Yep..

Can the driver side be installed without disconnecting the engine mounts and raising the engine? This is the only thing stopping me from installing them myself this weekend.

Can you run the engine with one installed and one OEM? May do the passenger side and then drive to get the drivers side done. Had to ask.

Not five minutes ago A box from Doug Thorley arrived on my stoop. YES!

We need a contest to see who will be first to install and report back?
