Sorry for the lengthy silence. I have been out of town...

I picked up the truck last Thursday. They showed me the headers rough tacked but in final shape. Not sure when production sets will be available, but should be 6-8 weeks. The dyno tests will be done before and after the final install so no results yet. The designer said the passenger side was easy and the driver side more challenging due to the steering as everyone predicted. They had to run one tube high to give the clearance, but seemed pleased and agreed that the stock headers are a joke. I will let everyone know when I hear from them again.

Any comments on installation?

I should have asked for more details, but did not. He did say that it was a fairly straight forward design process, and it did not present any real issues. I promise more the next time I am over there.

So what kind of steel will be used in this design? Or does it matter if its ceramic coated? I might be in if I have a little more on the details. Looks like its a direct bolt up from the thread.

None yet, but I have not called them. I will try to reach out on Monday and get an update. As soon as they are ready I am going to have them install a set on mine and have it dyno'ed. Should be interesting.

I will call them for an update today on timing. It has been 5 weeks since they designed the header, and they said 6-8 weeks to get them produced. As for price of the initials sets, I am not sure but will ask.

hmmmm... I'll be interested in seeing what results you get and how the hell you're going to shoe-horn that into position.

Dang...you can really see the diff in those pics. The stock manifold has all the exhaust go into one tiny little pipe. Out of curiosity: Does the new header lose some potential power by feeding into the factory (read: small diameter) exhaust system?

Those look really good, if I wasnt saving for the rear bumper, I'd want those headers right now!
