I like diffused for backup lights.

I had a set on my Charger for backup lights they worked great. These’ll be in the front, which is why I’m torn on what to get. Leaning towards those radiance scene or the diffused.

See if you can purchase the Rigid SAE model. They are street legal driving lights.

They don’t have any of the flange type that mount in the pre-cut holes on the bumper designed for flange type lights. I’m thinking the scene and diffused will be the least annoying to any potential oncoming traffic.

I’m torn on which light pattern (and color) to go with. I’m going back and forth between these...

I guess the question would be, "what purpose are they for?"
If they're to be used as constant on proximiaty lighting for around the camp site, then I'd go with defused. This would cut down on annoying glare when sitting round your rig.
If they are for proximity lighting for spotting things in the dark, I'd go with the floods. You don't care about glare, you just want bright and wide if you're using them for spotting.
Also, for me, I don't care for amber light, I prefer a warm LED anytime, except for headlights, then I what white and bright!

I’m hoping a combination of; campsite, trails/backroads and general fog light performance on dark unlit roadways.

I’m going to install some lighting around the roof rack once I get one so the campsite need thing may be moot. I suppose the anti-glare and trail performance are more important. I’ve gone back and forth for months on this decision. LOL

FYI I can get those same radiance scene lights in white instead of amber.

I agree. Would you recommend those scene flange lights for my front bumper then? I like the wide angle light spread but my only reservation is they’ll not be that effective once you get over 30mph or so if used for fog lights and or on dark unlit roadways.

I wouldn't use a scene light as a fog or driving light.

Ok I ordered the diffused lights. I’m going to get a 20” single row light bar with a flood/spot combo light IF I need something further forward and some ditch + side shooters lights for obvious reasons. lol

Ordered the RAM x-grip phone mount (and red caps) for my center dash phone mount similar to the setup @giovanni has. Only difference I'll be using my iphone 8 instead of a dedicated nav unit. Also, now that I have my MetalTech bumper in the garage I gotta find a way to get it installed. I'm surprised how light it is which is good as to not put a bunch of weight over the nose. I'm not looking to change the suspension yet since it is still in great shape.

Other than the metal tech, what other off-road bumpers require no cutting and is a direct bolt on replacement?

For a winch I used this:

I've had to use it several times and having the synthetic line is absolutely awesome compared to the wire cable I had in my old overland rig.
Just in general, I've been very impressed with this winch and it doesn't hurt that it's water proof!

Awesome! Any tips regarding installation of the bumper? I hope to get to tackle this sometime before the end of the month.

The winch will come later on towards the end of the build.

Unfortunately I don't have the space to do something like that so I had all my suspension and armor mounted for me by YotaMasters here in So. Cal.

So after about a ~750mi trip this four day weekend I discovered my passenger rear shock is sagging and worn. So looks like a full suspension front and back is in order that I didn’t intend on. I wonder what the price difference would be to just do a mild lift kit instead of just replacing struts/shocks?

I’m leaning this way but having a hard time figuring out not only the difference on the OEM replacement and what lift to compare it to. In other words I’m still absolutely lost oh what lift to get...there’s just too many options and it’s sensory overload. Haha.

The lift right now would exceed my alotted budget for 2021 so I gotta figure out what sort of cost difference it is vs OEM.
