Grey LC 200….what color wheels?

Alternate consideration for some…
—For me, wheel color choices take into consideration how they’ll look when scuffed up on rocks. Black or fancy colors look pretty bad scraped. My rock warriors are VERY scraped up…but (IMHO), scrapes never destroy their over all good look.
good point.... I have a set of RW's that are in good condition just faded center caps which I am just going to leave alone and run them... I did think for a hot minute about painting them black like my defender wheels for easy touch ups with literally the Krylon paint/primer stuff I use for those...

If your trucks goes off road at all, spending a ton of money on making the wheels pretty is a waste, Rocks happen.... IMHO.

I am going to make sure the rings come off and re-torque the bolts with some anti-seize

The nice thing about the removable lock rings is that they are sacrificial and take the damage to spare the wheel and can easily be replaced. Unfortunately I don't think anyone is still selling rings for the RW's (maybe a machine shop could make you a new set) but it is a perk for other current bead lock wheels.

I ordered a set of Titanium Icon Vector 5’s and wasn’t sure how it would turn out. Initially I wanted black since it was the easy choice and I had the black TRD Pro wheels on previously but the black Vector 5’s were backordered 6-8 weeks and Titanium was in stock. When Discount Tire pulled the truck up front with my new Titanium Icon Vector 5’s I was instantly in LOVE with the combo. It looks 🔥 and so glad it’s not your typically black or bronze wheel which everyone seems to be doing. Mag Grey on Titanium/gunmetal/anthracite is just right.

Black small steel rims and a lot of rubber around it.

Would love it if there where steel 17"s that fit the 200 available in the US (preferably Factory steels)

The question is if you will be able to fit 17“s without changing the brake system.
On my 2008 a 17“ would not fit.
Have still the 18“ that come from Toyota Gibraltar but dunno if they are fitted from factory or Toyota Gibraltar for the Africa versions.
Maybe I’ll sand them end of the winter to give them a new black coating since the actuall one is painted by hand a few times over the last 14 years.

Ya… Not all 17” are able to accommodate.
17” Rock Warriors do fit brakes fine, of course, as I’ve been running them on my 08 since 2015.

Anyone here have any experience with KMC wheels? I am curious how they compare in quality to Methods or the like?

Tires are Toyo Open Country ATIII in 285/75/17. There’s a tiny bit of rubbing on reversing. I removed both the forward and rearward mudflats and also molded the liners quite a bit with a heat gun. I could work on it a bit more to get rid of it but it’s so slight that it doesn’t bother me. I’ll get to it at some point.

Thanks for letting me know. Love the look.
