Back from anodize. Going to order up the battery then do some laser etching.

Anodizer

One or two additional items for the PP ain't gonna make a difference!! Nice to see in lieu of everything being powder coated....not a big fan...I would rather have a good prime and paint job. This is on a whole other level, IMO!!

Especially considering there are so many different anodizing options. Teflon impregnated and Mil-Spec hard anodized come to mind.

Pretty sure I've amassed everything needed at this point. Dropping off the bumper at DYNOSOAR's tomorrow night. :D

The tank I had is now being replaced by the 2.5G VIAIR I got from BENO. More bungs means more happiness :P

You can NEVER have enough bungs I say......

Couple hours here with Dynosoar.

The horns are trimmed and boxed in. Got rid of the light since I got bored waiting for WY's DRL mod. Removed the roller fair lead bracket. Cut off the overhangs.

Next up is the OBA and OBS fixtures and the wing boxing along with the chunky toe points.

Picked up a few pieces of 3/16" steel at Industrial Metal Supply. Damn steel is spendy!

The templates for the boxed wings are ready ;)

Found a local painter that is a few blocks from my work that will do the painting for the bumper. Thought about powder coat but the more I think about the more I think paint will be the better way to go.

this is shaping up really nice.

I wish I had not gotten my ARB re-powder coated, paint would have been a better choice, you will be glad.

Sorry this has been slow going. I haven't had a bunch of opportunities to sync up time with DYNO. BUT, I finally decided on how to handle the OBA section of the bumper. I had one of my engineers design up a plate that will be cut in aluminum then anodized black so that I can laser etch what I need on it :D

Still working out the idea for OBS but it will more than likely be about the same type of thing.

So here is the design of the plate. It will be aluminum and will be anodized black. From there I will laser etch all of the instructions right on the plate. Then it will go right over the air manifold that is getting mounted inside the bumper. I'm supposed to get the plate tomorrow. We'll see.

The tow points are in, aligned and welded. As Peter said, "I feel sorry for the car you punch a hole into".
