Sorry to hear about the loss. If you do decide to part it I would be interested in the front diff with ARB and the compressor. I have a rear ARB sitting on the shelf looking for a friend.

Sorry to hear about your accident. My insurance company let me add extra coverage to mods for $150 a year. They had me send them a detailed list of the cost of each mod. My guy said they will depreciate some but I would be a lot happier if something happens and it gets totaled.

I think you have the same rear bumper I have, TJM?

10ga,

I tried to message you about your spare tire set-up but your mailbox is full. Where did you get that? Thanks, Spank

I hope you find whatever solution works best for you, but if you do in fact decide to part it out, I'd love to grab the rear bumper and possibly your control arms...

I would buy it back, then sell it for a bit more than the buyback price to a mud member so it doesn't go to waste. As far as what it's worth as is? I'm guessing 3 to 4k. If I was in the market for a project. Projects have to be worth someone's while, otherwise it's just better to buy something that's in good shape already.

Two words ...

Owner Retain.

Insurance talk for keeping their salvage. Buy back in other words. That truck is barely hurt, there is a serious opportunity here to come out WAY ahead, fairly.

I'd wager that the buy back price is a lot more than what people might be thinking.. To buy it back from insurance would be between $7-9k I bet.

I am guessing 35-50% of actual cash value.

^ That definitely sounds like what it should be. My only experience with this type of ordeal was my 2002 Tacoma Double Cab was $8100 to buy back after it was totaled, the other party's insurance paid me $15,xxx.
