Sucks to hear dude but if you guys are looking for somewhere else to move to, NV has great entrepreneurial tax breaks and what not within the state. Plus add to that there is no state income tax and you are making money there!!!

I personally have to say that you have been awesome in any endeavor that I have ventured on and offered more than your fair share of help, advise and wisdom (all graciously accepted/wanted). Sucks to lose yet another small company to pricks like this but they all get theirs in the end. Best of luck dude and if you head through this way please hit me up, would be happy to buy you a beer up in Reno or where ever (seeing as you LET me buy BeBe out from under you, technically).

Thanks G, I really enjoy this forum and for the most part every member I've ever met over the years. I do my best to be a contributing member to MUD.

J,
Not sure what state you are operating in for the "reacquisition" of your property, but many states, like PA, consider attached property (i.e. - trailers on trucks being repossessed) as personal property of the debtor. Therefore, a bumper that is your rightful property, being attached to a vehicle could very well allow the vehicle to be considered personal property of the debtor, and thereby ancillary (and legal) property of the repossession process. Obviously you would want to run this up the proverbial flag pole prior to execution.
Now, getting back to the act of reacquiring your rightful property, I would be more than willing to dispatch one of our wreckers anywhere in the Northeast states to "Hook and Book" with your bumper. If the property is located elsewhere, I know just about every professional in my field that is licensed, bonded, insured, and legally operates under the letter of the law in their respective states...

Standing offer. You have my phone number. Use it if you'd like...

S

Thanks S, I am going to let my guys handle this one the way they want to. They are "Old Testament" for the most part and I think after I told them the story they are more pissed off than I am... I appreciate the offer. I'll call you in a day or two though.

Crap, sorry to hear about this Jason. That guy will get what's coming to him one way or the other.

You know you always have a home here in Austin.
He's got at least two homes in Austin. We just need to make it colder down here for him to move.

Jason, I want to wish you the best with whatever you decide. The land cruiser community will be taking a huge hit if you leave us.
Dealing with people like you gives me hope for the human race. Unfortunately there are also scumbags out there.
I hope it all works out for the best for you. I know you will come out on top with whatever you do. Your work speaks for itself.
I hope you keep goss, for selfish reasons. I actually look forward to every update on this thread. For me, It's the same feeling as getting car parts in the mail.

I sincerely wish you the best

Short update, hopefully more to come.

The bumper has been re-acquired... Lets just call them the Doo-Right Brothers... were successful at recovering the bumper sometime after lunch today and at the same time tipped off the local authorities to "suspect illegal alien" activities.. That's right! the scumbags weren't even US citizens. The brothers said 3 men were taken into custody, but 3-4 others fled the house where apparently they were all staying together. If a news link is posted they will send it to me.

I hope they are all deported or something worse happens to them..

FELIZ NAVIDAD :flipoff2: YOU SORRY FAWKS!

Like me some "frontier justice"! Nice

Makes me feel good

Hahaha, great to hear the good guy came out on top

Well the bumper is still in KY. Need to make arrangements to ship it back to me. Maybe after the Xmas season... FED-EX and UPS would probably lose it or damage it beyond recognition this time of year.
