Oh yeah, that should do a fine job :grinpimp:

I did not realize how far over that transmission was leaning. What gives?

I went back and tried to find why it was so far over in his build thread and what he had told me. This is what I found:

His quote " I still for the life of me can't figure out why the adapter is configured so that either the engine has to be rotated or the transmission has to be rotated, or a little bit of both."

The motor is kicked over as well. Transmission is at about 8 degrees according to one of his pics at the crossmember

As I told Boots, I will eventually get the motor mounts and trans mount re-worked. A little at a time.

The chevy adapter is supposed to tilt either the motor OR the transmission 8 degrees towards the driver side. Looks to me like the motor is tilted to the DS AND the adapter is pushing the transmission over.

People usually go for the engine being tilted to the PS so the transmission can be level. Looks like @Wyoming didn't want to do it that way!

Yeah.. I'll look into seeing what I can do when I re-work these things. The good thing is, I can still put the twin sticks in now and if I kick the trans level.. I won't have to cut any more floor pans..

So, if the motor is at the same 8 degree +/-... why couldn't I just re-work the motor mounts and trans mount back to level? Any issue you know of there Johnny?

Maybe I did not explain the chevy adapter correctly. This is what the chevy adapter looks like. The two bolts sticking out at the top, and the 7 large bolts in the middle bolt to the block, then the bellhousing pattern is seen around the outside. You can see that the bellhousing pattern is clocked around the crank by 8* IIRC towards the left, or driver's side (counterclockwise).

When the trans is bolted to the engine with this adapter, you can make the trans level, which will tilt the motor towards the passenger side by 8*. Alternately, you can make the motor level and the transmission will tilt towards the driver side by 8*. Make sense?

The pictures you put up there look like the engine is tilted to the driver side for some reason (can't think of any reason why it would be set up this way) which forces the transmission even farther over towards the driver side. Clear as mud?

Make the transmission level in the tunnel so that the shift tower is in the middle of the stock hole, and in the same position so that you don't have to change your driveshafts. Wherever the motor ends up, make mounts to keep it in that position.

I gotcha. The motor where it sits now is a little over 3 degrees to the DS now.

I have a like work to do here...

Always something...

I have my idea for the gas can rack with the new swing out hinge for Goss... Maybe I'll get that done tomorrow if time allows...

Also, got a donor 8274 winch to use to build another front bumper...

Here is the new spindle for accessories next to a full size spindle.

J, do you have enough shifters?

I have twin stick/ everything envy haha

J, did you run exhaust inside or outside of the frame rail? Sneak past the tcase and fuel lines?

And, yes, I received my packages [emoji2]

I ran it down inside the frame. Once I get the trans crossmember re-worked I re-route again. It is about 2-3" below the frame rail now. Witht the modded spring perches and monsterous crossmember.. it was the only way to do it. I got it as tight as I could.

Good on packages.. were the crates still in one piece? I've had some issues with FedEx rough handling my packages lately.

Damn, look at all that rust. She looked so clean too!

I knew everything was rotten to some extent (Goss is grade A compared to Marley though). But, until you start digging you never know how bad it really is unfortunately. I'll get him solid again, just :grinpimp:a few more days.

See I think he is cheating... twin sticks, diesel, and a ranger overdrive.... I call shenanigans.:moon:

Well now you are just exacerbating the issue... I think your penance should be that you have to drive to NV and fix my rust FOR ME!!!! LOL
