Reevesci,
Very nice work! I have to go back and catch up on your build. Wish my welds looked so good.
J - what is the purpose of your lower bracket kit? Is this simply to add a few more inches between the ground and the axle housing or what? I need to crawl under BeBe soon as she has been neglected most of the year. Time for an oil change for her and I need to just bit the bullet and start welding in the patch panels.
Quick question regarding that, suggestions on easily accessible weld thru primer? And is it something that a newbie welder should really use?
Pics of rear bumper frame mounts please?![]()
IMHO, front is too blocky right now. you need to/could match the wing angle work of the rear. Start bringing it up about 12-18" in from the end and then up sharply the last 1-2". If that made any sense...
FWIW I like your chalk line angles mobetta. Enjoying your process!![]()
Fixed.Yeah, last pic shows the new lines I will cut and go from there. I may go up another 1" from there but that'll be it.
J
I agree... I like the new lines better... I think I still have your number floating around somewhere I will give you a call after 5.
