I'm getting ready to buy some tires. Now before somebody tries to flame me for not searching, this is a VERY specific question.
I have had a set of WALMART WRANGLER AUTHORITY tires and I DID NOT care for them. That was on a Jeep and I ended up with Mickey Thompsons.
I'm looking at a set of DURATRACS for the 80 after the lift next week. Are the DURATRACS noisy? How do they ride?
Thanks for opinions

I was well surprised when I got my 315 Duratracs on. Quiet as can be. Been great in the snow this year as well. Quietest open tread tire I have had. Only have 3-500 miles on them so far but they are great.

Love my 35" D-Tracs :)

Coming from 33" BFG KM's and KM2's, the difference on the road is night and day  (and I thought the KM2's were quiet!!)

Thing is, since they're E rated, the same pressures I ran in the old BFG's don't exactly apply, so I've been playing with difference pressure for both ride quality, wear and mpg :hhmm:

your truck is so clean! not even a spec of dirt on it :D

The Goodyear Wrangler Authority tires are sold only at Walmart. Goodyear I thinks makes but I don't think Goodyear will honor any warranty. I'd stay away from them.

I have been nothing but happy with my 285 Duratracs, When I step up to 315's I will most likely buy them again. I dont do a lot of real heavy mud, it is my daily driver, they work very well in the snow, sand, and gravel roads. They are quieter than the BFG A/T's that I have had on my Tundra, 4runners, and Tacoma.
