How about the company that did Mike Fox's soft top? Although, I think he said it was pretty spendy.

Badger Coachworks on the Cape, yes, very spendy.

Try Seamless Customs in Leicester. He is not cheap either. Quality never is.

There's a guy in Bellingham MA who is great and very reasonable. He fixed rips and remade the bottom edges for my old BJ42 zebra bucket seats and charged me $100. I'll have to check the name. Its a small shop out of a garage studio next to his house

That sounds perfect and I'm in that area once a week. Is this the guy?

Thats the guy!

John, thanks for the tip on this guy. He seems like a really good dude and is way better to work with than anybody else I've talked to so far. And the best part...you'll never believe this...he actually listened to what I had in mind! We then had a great conversation about different ways of accomplishing what I wanted! Holy crap!

His rates also seem very reasonable and the work I saw looked quite nice. He's booked up for another month or so but it should be worth the wait.

Thanks!

He's great. Doesnt even have a computer or email etc. old school.

He does full custom interiors on old cars so I think anything we throw at him would be easy. I know someone who he made grey seat covers from scratch to match the originals. He's good.

Tried to go to Johns guy but he is currently backed up for the next month or two.

You might be better off. He's affordable but you get what you pay for. He's had my stuff since October and he still can't get it right. I asked him to make copies of my originals (and I gave him my frames to work from) and let's just say he got a little creative with them.

Plus, he scratched up my seat frames pretty good.

Thats a bummer. I used him for simple repairs and it went well
