I dove up to Alans this past Wed to see Alexs progress on his 40 and try to give him a hand. When I got there Alan was out grinding on the body and Alex was inside the shop grinding on another piece. 5 minutes later I get a Call from Chuck asking a steering question. He said he and JP were working on his front axle. Made me feel good to know so many in the club have got the cruiser bug especially on a weekday.:D

Got my old axle all apart and the inards washed and cleaned. All that is left is to get the differental off. Pounded at it for a while and it didn't budge. JP is back in town tomorrow so we should be able to get it off. I thought it would be tough gettin the axles out...that was a piece of cake. I'm goin to be able to make it up to Alans this saturday. Was wonderin if I could bring my new axle up there and get either Alan or Marshall with there expertise and steady hand grind that one side that was damaged by the broken birfield smoothed back down? Do ya mind Alex? Thanks, Chuck
