pulled this parts rig home a few weeks ago and removed the front tires and this is what I found.

Mag wheels are just so wrong. People tell me again and again 'Mark, don't be a hater' about my loathing of mag rims. But when you've seen as many f-ed up and unsafe cruisers as I have, it's reflexive.

Seen a lot too..turns a classic cruiser into an 80's yard sale!! I think the problem started when people figured out that Chevy had the same 6 bolt pattern, that really opened up the crazy wheel selection and why so many cruiser's got weird wheel and tire combos!

I am looking to buy some 82 or 83 white wheela or some replicas any one special place to get them. I see them all over the Web but 4 inch backspacing I need 2 inches or less

yeah I've had the same thing happen I've got a mixture of different steering component's and callipers on both trucks and have done the same with 15x10 -44 rims with both the callipers and the TRE's taking the inside balance weights off I have 6mm spacers on both front hubs now, I also had one tyre shop try larger truck weights on the inside of some rims to concentrate the balancing and it wiped all those off the first time the wheel rotated....... the things you learn :)

I know right and ever lesson cost. I just bought.1/2 inch spacers for both sides now studs are to short. I guess I will buy some new wheels and tires tomorrow. I was going to buy some of the white trailer wheels they look close enough but
They are 16 by 6 and no back spacing the right bolt pattern but I don't think I can put a 35 inch tire on a 6-inch wide rim pretty sure that wouldn't work because mine has a 6-inch Lift so I am going to buy some 35 inch skinny tires. They used to be make a Qbuckshhot murder. Tall and skinny but no longer. If you know of some I will but them first thing in morning

If you get some 16x7, they should still be neutral and fit a P-metric 35" tire. Pro-comp wagon wheels are the cheapest, and possibly cheaper on Summit than on the 4WP website.
