I am looking for a power steering hose or adapters... or just about anything to finish the P/O dumbassery. Basically, I have an unknown power steering box that had 3 bolt locations that they welded on a 4th. Where can I find a replacement hose or fitting or adapter to get from my power steering box to the power steering pump?

This is the gear box side fitting that seals. its an 11/16 -18 fitting. Most hoses i look at online dont say what size fitting it is and I am irritated at this point

This is the mysterious termination that I have no means of identifying an adaptor for cause noone in town at an auto store is able to think beyond asking if its a 4 wheel drive or a 2 wheel drive. I just want to be able to steer my fj40 :(

I bought an online hose that wound up fitting but was an inverse flare and exploded fluid everywhere. What do I need to buy to just finish this s***?

After talking to my dad and going to NAPA, who said and i quote "what the **** is that thing" I have determined that its a late model gear box that has an oring style fitting, and that borgson adaptors sells an oring to inverted flare fitting. And in theory that should solve my adaption issue. cause quite frankly AINT NOTHING gonna be sold that will go form inverse flare pump to oring gear box.

And AINT NOBODY got time to be buying every adaptor and fitting under the sun till the generic hoses fit

This is where the missile folks got the word Klogue from. My 72's PO, a gunsmith being one of his many talents - "if you have a hammer and a torch it has to fit". Learning to drill and tap plus die cut threads is very handy at time. Stripped out fitting in say carb bodies can be reamed, threaded with a plug and then D&T to accept the original fitting or anything you want.

I believe this is what you are looking for…

The silver adapter allows you to connect a flared hose end to a pump with an O-Ring. They had it in stock at the Hydraulic shop in town.

In my case, if the pump fails away from home, I can use either type of Saginaw pump I can find in stock.
