Wanted to give a shout out to whoever gave me an Old North State Cruisers card last night 10/30/15. I never knew about this forum and now I have tons more to read on the internet!

Here is a shot of my FJ, its been a fun 2 years and she's about to get some new MTs. Plans for 2016 are to get a swing out rear bumper, possibly look into color matching the roof and debating doing a TC 2" LT or simply getting Icon Extendeds coilovers in the front to replace my Sway Aways.

If anyone is local, theres a group of us getting together November 7th to go run Richland Rd. After that I'm sure a few more Uwharrie rides will be scheduled and we have a friend looking at the Sugar Hill Offroad Park which seems really cool though I haven't been.

Thanks,
Trey

What's up Trey! Good group over here too. Who's going to Ruchland Road? I love that trail.

Welcome, Trey! Nice looking stuff you have there.

We have lots of fine folks in our little gang and still have some events left on the calendar for 2015 that you can feel free to check out. Close to you, our RDU guys get together monthly on a weeknight (coming up - watch for a thread on it) and the GSO folks keep talking about a regular thing, too.

Looking forward to meeting you at URE.

Welcome Trey. Nice setup also.

Thank you guys! Whats up Neely!!!

Right now for Richland we've got Wesley, Myself, Chase Fredrick, Jordan,, Beau & Mark Estes going. I'm excited to meet some new guys. Mitch is a possibility and I believe Wylie is interested as well. Also, I think a number of the Southern Appalachian Trail Team guys are going up as well including Jarrod Edens, FLUSH!!!!, John Desmond and some other guys that I have not yet met.

Hey Trey,

I was the red 4Runner hanging with the Outbreak boys at Windrock. Good to see you on here.

Welcome Trey, nice looking FJC, sold mine last year, had it for 7 years.

Welcome, Trey! Very nice FJC. Also, that's a pretty awesome expedition trailer. Mind if I ask what it is? It looks almost too nice to be an M416!

Welcome to ONSC. Like the FJC.

Hi Trey -WELCOME!

I also recently joined the group and have found, like my club in KC, that the club here is full of wonderful people who really make being part a lot of fun.

Thanks CharlestonG8R!

The trailer has been a fun build. It was necessary when I got my RTT because I daily drive the FJ and was getting killed on mpg & handling. I don't have front or rear sways so the additional 150lbs on top really added to body roll. Taking the RTT and throwing it on the trailer has been worth every penny and makes camping/wheeling a lot of fun since I can just drop the trailer and go hit the trails.

The trailer is a Dinoot fiberglass trailer modelled after the M416. Its got the 3.5k axle to support 33's and a leaf suspension. To hold the rack in place I used the Thule fake rain gutter brackets and cross bars but I really like what people have done welding a cage to the trailer frame to support the tent. Maybe one day! Additionally, I dropped a tonneau cover over the top to keep water out. The trailer has a jeep style tailgate.

This weekend I got some new shoes!!! Traded out the Falkens to help a friend fit tires on his new 4runner and got some bigger MT's to replace. Should be a fun drop in MPG :)!

Nice setup! Welcome to the club. I've been looking around at off road capable trailers with RTTs - yours is pretty sweet.

Thank you sir! It was a blast to build for sure. Me and a couple other guys went in on the order together from Dinoot and sourced someone out of Greensboro NC to help fab the trailer frame. If you're ever interested in plans for the frame I've got them saved and can send over to help you with design if you're trying to go from the ground up.
