I feel like a kid on Christmas morning...

I bought my 2013 Land Cruiser in 2019 and I'm the second owner. I drove her for a couple of years and my wife drove her for a couple of years. The last 8-12 months we've had her in the garage as my wife and I have driven different vehicles. A few weeks ago I decided to do a few simple modifications and get rid of my truck and go back to driver my Cruiser. She's getting delivered to my house in a few hours and I'm excited!

The mods are simple as I'm planning to drive the LC for the next couple of years and then hand her over to my daughter when she starts driving. I think it's going to look great but I'm probably just glad to be getting back into a Toyota Land Cruiser. My F-150 and F-250 have been fun and all but it's no Toyota...

Hopefully the mods are simple but tasteful - haven't seen how she looks yet.

Icon suspension - Stage 1
Spidertrax spacers - 1.25"
275/70/18 BFG KO2
OEM Remote Start
Tint the front windows to match the back and 50% on the windshield
Refurbished the headlights (they had gotten foggy)
Full detail, wax, etc.

Nothing over the top, nothing crazy but I think it will look great. Should be showing up in a couple of hours and I will try and post some photos.

It’s Christmas morning

Happy for you! Have max fun with her!

Just a note about first car for a new driver especially teen... LC is not the best choice with much lower visibility and maneuverability than a car and the obvious size. Unless you live in rural area. In the city a truck will be a challenge. Daughter will be safe but the insurance bills for damages will add up.
I do not know of any beginner driver without at least a fender bender.

She’s home and looking good!

Looking good. Who did the work? See you around

Total Appearance in Lawrenceville, GA did all the work. Billy Abrams is the man to talk to over there. Taken all of my personal vehicles and work trucks there for a couple of years now. Highly recommend.

Really happy with the way everything turned out. I’ve been driving a F-250 diesel for the past year or so and although I will miss some of the size, newer bells and whistles and sadly the fuel economy that come with that new truck, I’m really glad to be back in a 10 year old Land Cruiser! Just classic and simple. I know it’s a minimal change/upgrade compared to a lot of folks around here but she will be my daily driver so I wanted to keep it simple but nice. Thanks for the comments!
