hey fellas,

I was looking at the '00 and '01 Subaru legacy Outbacks in the Craigslist for your area and noticed a significant discount in prices compared to the ABQ or DEN area. What gives? What am I missing?

Thanks.

Ali

No snow in Phx=no demand for Subaru

Ahh, good points everyone. I think I'll keep an eye on the PHX and surrounding area Subaru market.

Funny someone mentioned 20mpg ain't good enough! Coming from a LC, that's a godsend for us!!

When the time comes, I'll fly in one way and pick up a Subi and then drive it home. I'll post up when that happens; sure would be nice to see you folks again!

Thanks very much.

unless you want to end up on Homeland Security's suspect list, I wouldn't fly one-way these days  - just sayin'

get a Southwest ticket where you can always use the second half toward another trip  (actually, you can do that with any airline, only they charge you $100 for it  which Southwest does not)

I'm on their top 10 as I fly every week

My guess; there is a lower percentage of granola munchers here, so a supply vs demand thing?;p

And it has nothing to do with your name ???

or the time I carried a brand new Sawzall home in my carry on luggage? :D

Just dont go to the dealer at I-10 and the 101 loop in the westvalley to get your Subaru. Test drove a outback and they screwed up the install of the dealer theft device. Had to put some gas in on a test drive and it wouldnt start afterwards, had to slam the gear shift back and forth while turning it over and that worked. And before I even drove it they had to jump start it because the battery was dead. Not to mention the temp guage for outside and inside was jacked up, readings were both way off. There was a few other issues I forget now, but I walked away pissed off and sworn not to go there again. It wasnt Subaru's fault, it was the dealer.

thanks for the heads up. I don't usually buy cars from dealers but it's good to know.
