I have a line with a vinyl carpet manufacturer in Colombia that builds these for the 40 series and 70 series.

I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in these for the 80 series.

It will come with fiber backing and insulation, of course. Judging that factory carpet for 3/4 of the trucks is around $600 bucks. I will see if I can stay around this for the whole rig.

Molded for me is important as well. so yes it will have to come molded.

Jute will be a requirement as well. I want it to be as OEM as possible. Colors will be gray/blue and tan. Once I have a good prototype I will be posting pics in this thread. I leave for Colombia next week so stay tuned. Thanks to all for expressing their interest.

Question for all. Would you want any logos? Do you like the molded mats into the cover as in the above picture?

OEM floor mats have "Land Cruiser" embedded in the flooring. That would make sense to mimic that.

I think 60/62/70 series font "Land Cruiser" would make all of the 80 series folks drip their shorts.

I agree with you only issue is the 80 series has the center console cover over the transmission tunnel and all the ones I have seen with the vinyl flooring the "Land Cruiser" logo is right in the middle below the the transmission and transfer levers and didnt have the center console cover. Just like the above picture. The logo can always be on each side of the floor mat. Lets see what the manufacturer can do.

IMHO black would look better with the blue /grey interior.
I have this type flooring in a work van and it's really nice and cleans up easy.

the molded lines don't really matter to me, I would probably end up using my husky liners anyhow with it. thanks for doing this!

If not black, a dark grey is acceptable and shows less dirt. Either way, i like this idea
