Um, how long does it have to be lost before it can be found again? 10 years enough? I don't know squat about the OLD LandCruisers...

So, is it April Fools again? Since when did PigHead not know about old Cruisers.

X2....I like the baggie over the turn signal. no heater vent, it must be early.

Wow. Looks like a bomb went off in that garage since the last time I was there. Do it, Pighead! I wanna see that truck on the road!

ooppps I guess I spoke too soon :D, couldn't see the stamped bezel which would make it a '62/ early'63, but then some of the other things don't jive with the stamped bezel, like the toyota emblem in the grill, and the long running boards on the side.... so I am getting conflicting signs here:hhmm:, final guess is a '63 :meh:

the stamped bezel is probably a reproduction. I'm gonna guess late '64 based on a VIN of FJ45-204xx....but the 2F under the hood conflicts with that too.

Fixed top I am assuming. Time to pull off the wraps and show a few more pictures.

Beats me...how do you fix a top? You youngsters are always in such a hurry. I wanted to undress her more slowly...but I'm getting excited too.

Owner claims it needs a water pump...cuz it leaks. I think it needs a new brake master with the duel circuits.

RE: fixed top: does the top come off or is it one piece?

With the hinges doesn't that give it away as a removeable top truck?

I'm hoping these latches indicate a removable hardtop...I hear these old LandCruisers were short on people room.

Looks like a removable top to me based on the hinges and latches...which means a bit more interior room. Short wheelbase on long? Pics of the bed will help. I would love to find a rig like this sitting in a garage waiting a little attention. Should be a good project.

Short wheelbase on long?

Beats me. How short is short and how long is long? And is that wheelbase or bed length?
The bed is FULL of junk (or 'Cruiser parts) (and holes in the sheetmetal...) it's embarrassing.

Gotta be a SWB if it is a '64 as LWB didn't start until '65

Firewall tag says it's a FJ45 L ...does that help?

The L just means it was lefthand drive  The rear view mirror is the early two screw/bolt style which I believe also idicates it is likely a '64 and SWB as I believe the mirror changed in '65 to the 3 screw/bolt style... HTH

*edit* Just checked the the FJ45 registry and the VIN buts in squarley in '64 and thus a SWB
