I'm dry-fitting some Gamiviti towers on my 2000 100. Planning on a load bar-only setup, not a full rack.

When mounted, the horizontal "platform" that would receive the rack or load bars is nowhere near level. Same on all four towers, and location in the gutter front to back doesn't change it.

Anybody else run into this? Lots of threads about installation but no mention of this.

Is the weight of a full-size rack supposed to settle the mounts? In which case, would my load bars (2x1 aluminum rectangular tube) not work without modification?

I could bend them to level myself but it does not seem like that should be part of the plan.

I've got an email into Gamiviti but I'm trying here as well.

Thanks-

The weight of the rack won't straighten those mounts out, but once it's bolted down everything is nice and square. Can't remember if mine were that far off. Maybe just stick them in a vise and bend them as desired for your application.

Thanks for the replies. I bent them close to but not quite level and let the fasteners do the rest. This setup is for pretty light duty.

I think a full size rack would have settled them somewhat, but the angle was too far off for just the two load bars.
