Golden Mtn, July 12-14

I've been trying to find a time to get back to GMP and looks like my opportunity has shown up. Anyone else able to wheel that weekend?

July? :hhmm: Can you say roasting your weenie? Josh is supposed to be coming in town somewhere around that weekend, he'd kill us if we went without him.

We were under a severe storm warning but it broke up quite a bit before it got down here.

Check out my new ride.
The second one would be a great T-shirt

Fishing out of Destin, FL last week. The big grouper Brooks caught, but it was out of season, so we had to put him back. Brooks was not happy. Probably the biggest fish caught all day.

Looks like a good time Sid!!

Anyone ever thrown down a gravel pad for trailers and rigs? Looking at building a small 10x20ish parking pad right up against the side of the garage and don't have any experience on how to do this. Input on ground prep, mixing of gravel size, containment, top layer etc. would be appreciated.

step 1 watch youtube videos on it
step 2: layout perimeter by pacing off the area
step 3: lay down pressure treated lumber and pin in with rebar
step 4: dig out area
step 5:: get a load of granite dust and Ted ask them for the extra hard gravel stone, u know the kind you cannot crush easily
step 6: lay in a french drain with proper slope next to house
step 7: pour gravel and spread and enjoy
remember Ted, ask for extra hard gravel

Lost this sweet gum last week. Just glad that there was no damage beyond the tree.

Larry I'd consider that a blessing. I really don't care for Sweet Gum trees.

Why do sweet gums get such a bad wrap?

I am not a fan either. None of the nearby oaks dropped a branch in the storm, but the sweet gum went over. Also of minor consideration, the seed balls off the sweet gums get annoying and there seem to be more this year than usual.

Do ya need some help cleaning it up???

The government is watching you.... and you don't even know it.

Posted from a brick.

geez! If you haven't figured that out by now you never will. Bomb! bombbombbombbomb. :flipoff2:
