The planetary gear set failed on my transfer case (was on highway, never offroaded this unit) but the remaining internals look good.

Hey there. Old thread, I know. My 2003 v8 4Runner had the actuator leak and I did not catch it. So I get a slip under load, which I'm guessing is the chain and/or gear.
Any chance you still have parts from this TC? I'm north of you in TN about 2 hours. Thanks.

Can you PM me with your issue, assuming you're still having it. i took my '03 V8 Tcase apart so i might be able to help you troubleshoot it. The word "slip" means too many things to me
