1995 supercharged fj-80 with lockers. as near perfect as you could find/build
I built this because I love the classic style and the capabilities of the fj-80. Of course these are off road capable but it has never been used off road. As the 3rd owner of this rig I took it from stock to what you see. Thousands have been spent to make it what it is.
What I have done:
Mechanical: all completed by local Toyota store
Toyota super charger
Flushed all fluids (brake, power steering, coolant, transmission, transfer case, front and rear differentials)
Rebuilt or replaced brake system parts (master cylinder, calipers, rear adjustment valve, all e-brake system hardware, brake linings)
Tires and wheels
2.5” OME lift
Rear hatch handle and hardware
Plugs, wires and dist cap
Heater hoses
R134A retro fit
Stereo speaker replacement
Cosmetic:
ARB front bull bar bumper
IRON PIG rear bumper and tire carrier
Fog lamps
Drivers seat bottom replace (OE leather)
All paintwork necessary for stone chips and scratches
All wiper arms
HIGH LIFT jack
mile marker winch
Just because:
AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK roller drawer system.
I have done much more but I think this gives enough info.
This LANDCRUISER has the gold emblem package, lockers front and rear, leather interior, 3rd row seats (removed and stored for outback drawers) cruise, original radio c.d player, factory running boards, rear climate control, power antenna. I have completed all of this in the last 2 years and within 4,000 miles. It handles perfectly at any speed. It does not rattle, pull, shake, squeak or any other annoying thing you can think of.
