hey, do any of you have good pics of your(or someone else's) "big" 80 series on big rocks?
I am planning out my next beer label. it's going to be called "Big FZJ-80 Shilling Scottish Ale".
it's a bigger than 80 shilling scottish ale (80 shilling is a 19th century method of classifying beer made in Scotland).

I picture the label having an 80 series on big rocks from a front angle shot, but let's see what you got.:grinpimp:

thanks :beer:

I have a few at Flickr. There are more where those came from.

...If you're interested in non-club member pictures...

having a club member's rig would be ideal, but i'm open to a super good pic of someone else.
man Mike, way to make me work for it! that thread has 47 pages!! :eek: I'm still only 20 pages in. here's a good example of what i'm looking for.

Does Oro Quay Peak in the San Pedro Mountains qualify as a "big rock"? :hillbilly:

Any extra credit for an 80 wheeling in NM? Bonus for a "3FE" sticker? :grinpimp:

I think yer having too much fun.

a little explanation, a 'strong' scottish ale has certain requirements like the 80 shilling, but there's a little gap between the 2(strong having more alcohol and stronger flavor). my beer will fall inbetween them.
they rank-
60 shilling, light amber color, low alcohol(2.5-3.3% abv);
70 shilling- medium amber, more alcohol, more malty flavor;
80 shilling- called 'export', med to dark amber, maltier, hoppier, and 3.9-4.0%abv;
strong- big strong taste, 6.9-8.5% abv!

That ain't Beo's 80 pal :D

is it you? i was guessing by color, since not much was visible. rory posted it on the thread Mike linked me to.

Not mine, ARB front bumper.

:grinpimp: that took me almost 4 hours to accomplish. I changed the hair, neck size, jaw line, nose, removed a beard and added a 'stache and sunglasses. then put a beer in his hands instead of what he was holding before. last, I put in the lettering. the rest is what was there before. that was my first time trying anything in paint. the new label above is my second attempt using photoshop. I have a long way to go before proficiency.

here is the brewery logo bigger.:hillbilly:

thanks. i feel like an amateur next to some of the people on the homebrew forum. here's what I see over there.:eek: the first one is hand drawn!(as opposed to images stolen from the internet like the others and mine):D
