Future Upstate Cruiser

Hey guys,
I am Brian Marsh. I am a good friend of JPs. I've gone on some outings with him and some club members before. I was on the first Cullowhee trip. I finally got a Land Cruiser and am really excited about owning one. My wife actually found it for me. It was originally from California and the guy i bought it from got it shipped to Augusta about 3 years ago. It has very little rust and has a straight body. Engine 4wd and tranny work good. I had jp go with me and he confirmed what i thought..... that it would be a good buy. It needs a little TLC but i love it already. Here are a couple pics.... i just picked it up last night at 10 so i couldnt get real good ones. I am real interested in joining the Upstate Cruiser club and may be going on the Cullowhee trip

Thanks guys yeah i hope we are going to be able to make that trip... the only confict is that the 20th is my wifes bday so it depends on when her fam can celebrate with her....

yeah its pretty clean after yesterday when i spent a long time vacuuming it out and cleaning her up... there is also very little rust... and i felt like it was a decent deal for its condition...

yeah i need to get the oil leak fixed at some point.... but as one of my coworkers said... "its an off road vehicle, its supposed to leak some oil" haha

just an update...
(JP) im ordering the parts for the shifter today from toyota. i think the parts i need are like 2.60 a piece and i need two. those pieces were gone ground to dust.

also, ive been ripping un necessary wires out of her to her back to stock condition. The POs had installed a old school car phone and when they took it out they left all the wires and the old box receiver thing under the back seat carpeting and the wires ran to the fuse box area wherethey had just cut the wires and left them. also, there was and olc clifford alarm system hooked up and i have disabled it but have not taken it out. i did not even realize it had an alarm system till it went off in the lowes parking lot with me in the car and i could not figure out how to turn it off... that was the end of it. i think i have removed like 5 lbs of wires and such with more to come....

Also, does anyone have side marker turn signal lights for a 1988 FJ62 in good condition??? i need the whole assembly.

Ebay and wanted section you can get anything under the sun. You know how much time JP and I spend on ebay. Sounds like you are getting some stuff done Brian cant wait to see it. We'll have to do an old house tailgate for a game and get the 3 cruisers out together.
