When I bought the vehicle I looked at the fuse box and they looked just like the Mini's I had for my 100 series so I thought I was good

My Cigerrette Power outlet didnt work and when I found the fuse in the drivers side under the dash it didn't look like the mini I had grabbed to replace it. Fortunately the main box in the engine bay had a spare for the 15 A Low Profile Mini Fuse

I will be ordering those and chucking the assortment of mini's I had in my parts kit

Used the spare and power is back

Now THAT is good to know! Thanks much for the intell!

The regular minis fit fine. I popped my dome light fuse swapping to LEDs and used a regular mini from the pile I bought for my Tundra.

Good information. Since I had a spare I didnt want to try it. The blades are slightly different and having a fuse ride higher than the others probably isnt a big deal

I still will toss them and replace them with the Low Profile Minis I just ordered. Toss them means give them to my daughter who has a 100 series :D

Seems like maybe both will fit. Almost looks like those fatter-looking ones are just a little more braced or something?

All I know is Toyota engineers changed the stock oem fuses to the low profile versions. I'll stick with what they did since this is relativley cheap thing to buy spares for

Ya... Really just wanna check since I had what I thought were spare fuses on previous trips. Wanna figure out if they work or if I need to grab more. Easy enough to check....

It pokes up but works in a pinch. I'm OCD so I'll swap it out with real low pro mini eventually. The ones I had have the mini diode light that tells you if the fuse popped which saves time in the commonly popped fuses like these.
