Fuel leaking where tank threads into line

Good morning FJ team!

Finished swapping my fuel pump yesterday on my FJ62 project, but after putting the tank back in, i have a bit of a leak coming from where metal the fuel line from the tank threads into the main fuel line (between the pass side rear tire and diff). Please see the attached pic.

Does anyone know if there was supposed to be a washer of some sort in the coupling?

I just did mine and tgere is no washer.

Are you sure it's leaking at that spot, or leaking from fuel pump bracket gasket and draining down to there? You would know this if the leak disappears after losing a couple gallons.

is the connection tight? use flare nut wrenches, to avoid rounding

My bad. Went back in and tightened it waaayyyy down. Not sure that was the best thing to do, but problem solved - leak has stopped.
