I just installed an AFI kit. So much better than the carb, and there was not anything wrong with my carb. Very happy with the results.

My biggest issue right now is how to get the 60 pedal to work with a cable. It isn't easy.
I think I found an "easy" solution...
I used a Lokar cable. On the TBI end, I used a screw on cable end from the Help section of Autozone.
On the pedal end, there is a clip for the hand throttle that snaps into the top arm of the pedal. (I think you can order that separately from Cdan or the like. He pieced together my hand throttle years ago.) "Guide" 78449 in the pic...
If you pull the clevis-thingy off the Lokar cable, there is a ball end that fits perfectly into the hand throttle clip. Or you could leave the clevis on if you wanted.
The hardest part is lining up the hole for the cable as the drill bit walked all over the place on me.

The downside is that you lose the hand throttle.
I think FJ62 pedals have two attachment holes if someone really wanted a hand throttle, though.

I've been super busy lately guys. Sorry. Been trying to get the shop off the ground and just got swamped with vehicles. How about we do this. It may work the best for right now and help me sort things out as we go.
