Fuel ferrule nuts

I'm looking to make a ferrule nut connection at the supply side of the OEM fuel tank on my 65 FJ45 with a 5/16 hardline. I believe I need a 12x 1.5 double flare compression fitting but am having a hard time sourcing one.

The original nut is a 12x1.5 thread. I’m wondering if any of the other ferrule nuts on the fuel system (2 on the fuel pump and one at the carb) are the same size? I’m hoping to keep the F135 intact and don’t want to pull off the fuel lines if they aren’t going to help me.

I read up that the 69+ have common sizes in multiple areas. Not sure the 65 is the same.

Have an early glass fuel filter, will check it tomorrow to see if the same 12x1.5 fittings will work

Good idea. I have a couple of those too. I’m still going to try to source one for the old F135 so I can keep it complete.

I think the air rail from a 2F has these same nuts.

I read the 3FE air rails work too so I may dig those out and check.

The compression nuts and ferrules for the carb were still available from Toyota recently.
