Im just wondering if anyone has put a sunroof in their 73/74 series, or if anyone has links. Is it possible?

It was an option on this model. I dont know of anyone who has installed a aftermarket sunroof but I dont see any reason why not.
Personally I couldnt bear the thought of cutting holes in the roof and I get plenty of sun without letting more in;)

I dont think i'll ever take the roof off. Seems like a hassle, plus I have a JDM model, so I can't take the back windows off.

I was just thinking about it when thinking about what things I can do to my car.

it is your truck do as you wish of course BUT...here is what i would do.
remove the top, make a set of rear 1/2 doors (take a set off another unit and cut the top half off)
make a bikini top for it to keep the sun off your head.
and enjoy.

to me the idea of a sunroof in that unit will depreciate it but then that is just me...

taking the top off is an hour job with a buddy to help. putting it back on is (properly 1 1/2 hr) 1/2 hour if youjust bolt along the windshield frame and 4 bolts i the back...
once you take the top off you probably will not reinstall, they are just too cool to drive topless...
cheers

I had a open topped mitsi jeep once, never again.Even with a bikini top(on boats they call them bimini;) same thing?) I got burnt to a crisp and hated not being able to secure things.
Its gonna be 40c+ all weekend here
Might as well have got a m/cycle.

LOL!!
i have the Mits Jeep as well and i LOVE it with the top off...
security? get an army box and bolt it to the floor, lock and forget...

like i said each to their own... i like topless and hate being couped up in a tin box (with a fiberglass roof to me it is still a tin box)
