Do it. Tobascofish drove home from Moab to ABQ on the front end of his 60 after he candy-caned the rear shaft on Goldbar Rim a couple years ago.

Ran my 95 that way for several days with no problems. Expect some torque steer when turning and accelerating.

I remember reading that one reason of many reasons for getting the center diff switch is so that you can run with only one driveshaft. Just remember that the vehicle will drive somewhat differently without the power split to front and rear. HTH.

With only the front DS and supercharged, the tires spin easily on takeoff.

What a great way to "true up" the tyres...........:D

I'll let ya'll know if the 3fe breaks the 31s loose....am I then "fast" or merely "furious"?

:bounce:

well, aren't 3FE drivers usually furious? I see them kicking the firewall and beating the steering wheel everytime they have to go uphill.... :D

i've got to see some smoke filled picks of this.....please.....pics..........

Concrete Jungle, where in NC?

It's also a VERY good way to kill a front R&P... esp. w/ the S/C, 4.88's, and a heavy right foot...

C-dan-

No bleach needed... the front's heavy enough to not need any sort of rubber softening compound.

There's one in this months issue of Toyota Trails of Alan Podvin smoking all 4 on against a ricer on the track.

wolfpack,
i'm between greensboro and high point, for now. Trying to get a new job, so i might not be here too long. I'm assuming you are in Raleigh.

i don't get toyota trails, so unfortunately i can't see those, but all 4! Really?! I guess it would be kind of neat to see a blinged out cruiser hopped up but with small, light road wheels and trimmed down to see what it would run in a quarter.

Is your rig white? If so, I think I saw you in or near Greensboro... and yes, I'm in Raleigh.... wanna buy an ARB bar and/or Warn M12k? How about a Slee 5" lift? Come on!!!

They're no donuts....IIRC they're 37" swampers helped out by a Safari Turbo. He's just crazy that way.

Safado-

I think what he meant was that it would be cool to see what one does in the quarter or so.... my personal best is 15.8 @85... fast enough to beat the CRX in the right lane.
