Front U-bolt length for flip kit (1 Viewer)

A fellow Mudder sent my the plates fro his front U-bolt flip kit, but I'm not sure how much longer of U-bolts I need than stock. With 2* shims from Georg and AALs my U-bolt nuts are still fully engaged, but there is no thread protrusion. So I'm sure I'll need longer bolts to put the flip kit plates in. Any suggestions on how much longer than stock I'll need?

Get two inches longer and cut them down. Or since you're flipping them, just leave the extra length there since it wont be doing any harm unless they interfere with the bumpstops
