Is there a recovery point for the front that is compatible with the Ironman front bumper? The few I've seen say they may not work with most aftermarket bumpers. I don't really trust the front tiedown/tow point from the factory.

It's hard to say if these are compatible without some detailed pics of how the Ironman bumper mounts, but I'm running them on my rig (stock bumper) and really like them:

Yeah. I saw your post when you got these. I’ll reach out to SRQ to see if they have experience with mounting these under the Ironman bumper. Was just wondering if anybody had a solution to this.

The search continues. SRQ says their recovery points will not work with the bumper as the bumper uses the same mounting points.

Looks like this forum member added some points to the front directly:

Kind of surprised it doesn't come with integrated points!

That looks kinda sketchy. I wouldn't trust that steel to be able to pull the weight of the vehicle and then some....

You'd for sure want a big plate behind it. I'm also not sure how the front ties into the winch mount, but presumably the winch mount should be designed to pull the rig. If you use M10 bolts, a single grade 8.8 has a ultimate tensile capacity of 46K pounds, so the bolts themselves should be way under-capacity.

Or consider this style that mounts outside the frame:

Agreed. I wouldn't be worried about the bolts failing, just the front metal of the bumper not being able to keep the backing plate secured. Doesn't seem like many options.

The above picture is looking back at the front of the bumper from behind. This is where the other user bolted those d-rings.

This pictures shows the winch mount. Should be installing one in the next week or two.

This is where the bumper mounts and also where the other recovery points mount as well.

This is just a front view where the bumper mounts.

Yeah that looks way too thin for a recovery point! Appears to be sheetmetal. Enem the side mount might interfere with the lip where the bumper mounts to the frame. Could be something that requires some custom fab.

Exactly. I'll talk to a fab shop to see if there's something we can come up with. Thanks for all your input.
