I'm looking for some help installing an ARB front locker.

I looked at the Toyota GSIC instructions and it looks like the whole front diff carrier has to be removed? This requires removing the drive shaft, removing both half shafts, and removing the complete diff assembly to split it in half.

In the 100, all that needs to be done is remove the diff cover. On the 200 it looks like the whole diff assembly must come out and be split open.

Am I looking at this right?

You sure are. Once the CV's are out the Diff will come easily, had mine fully unbolted for the diff drop mod. Was thinking at the time, have come this far, why not a Locker also:D

How many hours do you think it takes to remove?

I'm a bit confused by the GSIC instructions. The main removal instructions are linked to the removal of other parts, and the section regarding removal of the CV's goes through removal of the Steering knuckle. Is that needed?

Any tips for removing the CV's?

Josh over at Baertrax in Dallas installed my front and rear lockers...did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. Call him at (972) 406-9363.

Sorry mate, have not had to remove mine as yet. I would imagine Knuckle off to remove CV, then Diff. The Diff part will only take 30min, the rest??
