I can't wait to see the finished product on this. Should be awesome.

Maybe you can fit these tires:D

Yup that was me, was this in Clairmont?

Yes sir! Genesee and CMB. I live right down the road.

I was in the white 200.

Sweet rig sir!

Haha that would definitely work well on the sand but would be a nightmare to get past the annual tech inspections out here. It would be too wide for the brake test rigs unless you sent it in with super skinny tires and hope they don't question why it looks ridiculous.

They very rarely go that big on the LC200 though. I've only ever seen Arctic Trucks go that ad on an LC200 once though on this one and that has a solid axle swap and a lot going on....

I can't find pics of it on the 44's anymore and I'm assuming these 37's are the more sensible daily option but it's hilarious how the fenders make them look tiny. They tend to go nuts on the Prados and Tacomas instead.

I think the fenders that are sized sensibly for the 37s will be great for what I want from this rig. It's still going to go on adventures that will have LONG highway components so that's why I'm looking at running the 37" KO2.

Most of their LC200's are set up on a 35" tire package and the 37" is already a rarer choice. All the ones here are on 35s and I'm fairly sure this will be the first one on 37s in the UAE. Can't f'n wait to see it.

This one is on 37s apparently. Very happy with this stance - that would be a great amount of ground clearance while still being decent on road..

Wow small world. Very cool rig - congratulations.

How's the on-road driving with the portals?

No updates yet on the ring and pinion, workshop manager was on sick leave for a few days but the current plan seems to be to proceed with machining the gear but at the same time also looking for a set of used front and rear diff carriers with the 3.9 ratio gearset or 4.3 ratio gearset as an option for a potential short term solution before doing the portals. At the time of doing the portals it would be time to go back to the 3.3 gear plus machining if I do go with the junkyard diffs in the mean time.
