So I am in need of opinions as I am stuck between both options. I know this is highly subjective but this is my first Crutha and most of you guys have been there done that and I value your insight. Little back ground.. I have been slowly restoring this 2000 for the last year. I am almost done with phase 1. I messed up and feel I went way too small on tires really think the look I wanted was in the 34" tire range and probably with a tundra wheel.. but that's an issue for another day. The main issue I am running into is front end. I have added OME 2865 springs to the back and cranked up my torsion bars in front. Unfortunately I have maxed out the passenger side torsion bar and its as far as it can go. I am well with in the lift and droop specs and would like to bring it up a bit more so I don't feel like I am always leaning downhill in it. This has 285K on it so I don't know how tired the torsion bars are. Everything else in the suspension has been replaced. So do I re-index the torsion bars or do you think I should just get some OME torsion bars and call it a day? I am really not sure which direction to go. Sitting on the right slope it looks ok as you can see in second picture. Just really feels like I am facing downward.. when it was stock it felt much more level.

You’re starting with solutions. What’s the problem you’re trying to solve?

I am hoping to get a little more lift in the front end. I dont know if its worth re-indexing torsion bars with a lot of miles on them or to buy new OME torsion bars.

Re indexing is free and easy. If you're just trying to get 1/2" of so, that will probably do the job. I got much beefier torsion bars and front end stiffness went way up, not sure it was worth it.

I was leaning that way a bit the more I think of it. I think its just having original torsion bars with that many miles and re-indexing them.

What is your phase 2 plan? More weight in the rear, front or both?
