I sold my 80 several years ago...but I say build it...it looks great.
I love minimal plate bumpers with sharp edges.
Much easier to get this look on an 80 than on a 100...too bad for me.

Poppa needs a new welder. Might have to start a Dawg needs a new welder sale.
I really like the design, but I think you need to add some sort of "hoop" like boogers bumper. Having the grill so open and exposed like that does not give me warm and fuzzies. Even though a hoop won't do much, its more for piece of mind. That, and it will allow for a place to mount an LED bar.

Yes sir, I just got my dies today from JD2 so stingers are on the way. Im gonna offer a few different styles so guys can choose for themselves what they want instead of me telling you this is what your getting. I should have at least one example tomorrow maybe 2.

Got a new to me welder today.... welds are looking like butter boys... I knew it was the machine!!! 
Didnt make a whole lot of progress today but a little. Picked up all the steel for the 3 bumpers 3 racks I need to build.
Will post up some pics of the new machine and other goodies the guy threw in.
I cant say it enough and I'll say one more time,
Thanks to MUD I'm able to feed my kids. I appreciate all the well wishes via PM's I receive almost daily. And the business you guys have given me. Without IH8MUD Forums I would be saying IH8UNEMPLOYMENT... SO THANK YOU.

He threw in all the consumables too
He also included this old Wilton huge ars vise... been needing this for awhile
First passes with the new machine
Certainly not perfect but not bad. Made some passes on 1/2" plate and it melted right in. Will have no problems with these welds gentlemen rest assured.
