I have a 99 LC with a stock rear diff. I have an ARB in the front, and would like to wire it into the 80 series diff lock switch.

1) Has anyone done this?

2) If not, I am having trouble finding a wiring diagram for the stock 100 series diff lock switch, which will be useful for figuring this out.

Yes, several people have done this. I didn't build it but my last 99 had the factory e-locker and front ARB using the 80 switch. I didn't build it so can't tell you how to do it but several guys on here will be able to point you in the right direction. If I'm not mistaken, the 100 dash has the lights for front and rear already in place, just have to figure the wiring out to make them work.

This may help a little but I'm sure there's better threads
Front locker - independent wiring or not?

Thanks! I've been looking around the site for some information, and haven't quite found what I need.

The stock RR only switch uses three pins and so does the FR-RR switch. On an 80 wiring diagram the switch goes to a diff lock ecu. I'm not sure how this works on the 100.

I'm pretty sure there are threads about this, but I am struggling to find them.

Common mod, I think Slee offroad often configured them this way. Maybe just get the switches side by side with a multi-meter and figure it out, not too many pins to deal with at least.

Rob is your man. I followed his wiring diagrams when I installed my 80 series switch to do exactly what you want to do.

Factory Switch to Control Air Lockers – Part 1

One thing I would add is to split the wire coming out of the FRONT locker to also trigger the air compressor. I have a separate air compressor switch which is nice to use when airing up tires. When wheeling and using the locker switch, it would be easier to just have the air compressor be triggered at the same time as the front locker.

This sideways aux lighting switch is actually the air compressor switch:

Did the above two switches fit without filing down two edges of the switches?

I like the backlit switches, are they from the FJ?

I'm digging the horizontal switch also though.
