Hold up there, that hose is the high pressure side for the vaccum pump on the alt. Those hose clamps aren't doing a thing that is a outer casing you clamped, use break clean and clean the area around the banjo bolts then replace the copper washers, problem should be solved.

Jay is on the money here; do this.

$98 seems steep. I'm sure Coast Industrial (in Victoria) could make you a new one for a lot less if you sent them a picture and the specs. They've made us some custom lines for a much better price than OEM lines.

Coast made mine up for me because mine looked tired like yours. It was under $40 for the pair of them, braided lines... nice.

Got the line, $50 bucks for it, but the rest was just shipping up to Prince Rupert:bang:

Decided to add some more rice to my rig with a new gauge

Ran a hard line #4 JIC from the old outlet for the oil pressure sender to the dash

You can kinda see the oil line in the air tube, had to drill a hole through the side for the line to fit though

oh, and my door suddenly turned blue

Just a question, at idle the new gauge reads around 10psi, is the a normal amount?

What a champ, we really gotta get you that one I have been talking about for the heart transplant

I'd go take a look at these: http://victoria.en.craigslist.ca/pts/4481880634.html Depending on condition you could talk him down.

33x10.5x15 BFG All Terrains - $400 (Langford )
condition: good size / dimensions: 33x10.50x15

Selling a full set of 33x10.50x15 with 50+ % tread remaining. No punctures, no leaks no nothing. Great tires just want a wider tire so moving on with 33x12.50x15. Let me know if you are interested. just the tires, no rims included.

Just be careful with the BFG's in the 15" rim size. They have a load range "C" and have paper thin sidewalls. Thats why so many step up to a 17" rim and a higher load rating.

My past experience with BFG A/T's in 15" is the same, and when I starting airing up and down the sidewalls separated.
This happened to 4 tires, 2 - 32" and 2 - 35"

Pfttttt:rolleyes:, you would need a push up just about every hill with this size tire... I struggle going to 33 1050 and still use 5th alot with 4;10 gears.. you on the otherhand 3;73 gearing and even 33 would under a fatter wagon would rarely use fifth..

Well, after that last run up to Tugwell, you guys have convinced me to get some bigger tires.

If anyone sees some decent 33' tires with a 15 inch rim, Ill dive right on em

In the meantime, what about this? Do a wee little body lift and they'd be in... right?

Hey guys, as some of you may know, my fuel gauge has stopped working. I checked the sender in the tank, and its fine, the line from the tank to the harness is ok, but the continuity from the harness to the gauge has some weird fluctuation, similar to AC...

I got a new gauge cluster from EBI Cruisers, bolted that in and and still no success.

Anyone have any other ideas what to try next?

Come on by and Ill give you free beers

sounds like a bad ground ...

Try to disconnect he harness from gauge and measure resistance on the wire from the fueltank (should vary depending on fuel level)

Then start checking grounds... I would guess one is rusty and crap... or just add a new one and see if it improves.

Sounds like a plan... where can i find the grounds in the dashboard harness?

They're all the same colour in the truck, (white with black I think? could be wrong)

but most likely it's the ground on your tank..AT the sender.

If you get that weird ac like signal at the tank, it sounds like the signal is making it there(I dimly recall finding the same sort of signal ages ago), just isn't making it to ground and giving the gauge something to measure.
