This thread is still alive!
(barely)
After hearing this scary knocking noise from the front end for the last 2 months, I decided to head up to Radd to get a handle on what on earth was causing it.
For some reason I thought it had something to do with the way I installed the lift, but that wasn't the issue!
Turns out that my tie rod links were hooped!
Went down to lordco to pick up some replacement links today to throw in and ran into a bit of a snag (can you spot the problem?)
Turns out it was just the wrong part in the right box, they say that the right one is coming in tomorrow morning, so we have yet to find out
Interesting thing about the right tie rod link, Ill be getting one very similar to the left tie rod link, because they used to make rebuild kits for the right tie rod link's style, but are now very hard to find. So I guess we're just going to roll with what we get!
In the mean time, Im busting out the rattlecan and giving the tie rods a "safer" coat of paint
How the underside currently stands
Oh, and I got a new steering stabilizer mounting bracket from Radd
