No it won't work. The splines are different on the birfields.
No NO! As the othe rpost said there is a spline difference. Locking hubs are cheap, est thing is to buy new or good used.

thanks, i was looking into good used ones, and all i could find were drum brake ones... the search continues.
how hard would it be to just take the outer cap/casing off, with the turn dial. it's only the cruddy plastic dial that's cracked.
