Dyno testing showed a consistent power gain of around 10whp (wheel horse power measured at the tire). I haven't had a chance to pull the dyno run files off the dyno computer yet. I'll post the graphs up as soon as I get a few minutes to transfer the files over.

Thanks again Baktasht. You guys were great to work with. My wife sat in it and loved it. She kept hitting the excelerator because it sounds "so mean". Be back soon so you can record sound bites.

How long until you are ready to take orders?

Likewise, it was great working with you on this. Stop by anytime.

This exhaust is a bit complicated to build, in order to keep the price down as much as possible for you guys we'll be doing a large production batch of them all at once. We will start taking orders this week and planned ship date for the completed batch of exhausts is the end of December. Pre-orders do not get charged at all until the exhausts are shipping out. There is no deposit or anything either. I'll post up dyno charts, pricing, and pre-order information soon.

Dyno graphs. You see 2 graphs. One is UNCORRECTED numbers, one is with STD correction factor (humidity, temp, barometric pressure, elevation all taken into account).

We are pretty happy with the outcome. More power across the entire power band from start to finish, with a very nice horsepower and torque gain across almost the entire power band.

Couple questions:

Pricing still same as 62 systems?

Would/ should heat shield over t-case need to be installed?

Could the rear outlet be trimmed to work with a rear bumper such as a 4x4 labs or Slee?

Do you have any pictures of the cat in relation to the frame/body? Your placement looks like exactly what I am looking for to tuckit up for slider construction/ installation.

Pending the answers to the above, you can mark me down as a maybe for one of these systems. I definitely need a new exhaust and was looking at taking it to the exhaust shop this winter, but this would be a nice system to bolt straight in.

Thanks,

Matthew

Yes, the same pricing as the FJ62. Which was a bit difficult to figure out due to the more complicated nature of the FJ80 exhaust system. But we were able to keep it the same for you guys.

It doesn't get hot enough or close enough to need any extra heat shields at that spot.

Yes, we can do a turndown tip instead of out the side. You'd need to request that in the notes when placing your order so that we can build it for you that way. That's no problem.

All of the photos that I we have at the moment are either in this thread or on the listing on our website. If you need any additional angles please let me know and so that I can snap a few more for you guys the next time Jim comes by the shop with his FJ80.

You can place your pre-orders here:
http://www.emspowered.com/storefron...uct_info&cPath=61_119_120_121&products_id=761

Pre-order Notes:
* Planned completion and shipping date around the last week of December
* When you place your pre-order your CC will be authorized, but no charge will be applied to your CC until the exhausts are shipping out.
* There is no deposit necessary to place a pre-order. Charges are billed to you once the exhausts are shipping out.
* If you have any special needs with the tailpipe or other parts of the exhaust make sure to note it in the "notes" section of the order during checkout so that we know.
* As with all of our products you can place your order online on our website or over the phone (512) 686-2800.

All sounds like good news to me. The angle I would like to see would be similar to the one posted earlier, the one looking up the collector between the frame and body.

Maybe a side shot looking at the cat in relation to the frame and front arm mount.

Thanks

Could you please take a picture of the other O2 sensor? I only see the bottom one. Thanks

It's very difficult to see the other O2 sensor from under the truck. It points sort of up and toward the middle of the truck similar to the OEM location. Here's a pic of the y-pipe off of the truck and you can see both O2 flanges.

A couple more full FJ80 exhaust systems went out today. Should be arriving just in time for an after Christmas surprise. Enjoy guys, and Happy Holidays!

I really need to order this. I wish someone would have told me that buying a FJ80 was going to become a money pit.

It's not so bad compare to some other vehicles ;) At least they run forever when they're maintained :steer:
