The ply in the middle is bolted to the frame for possible sleeping use in the future. Not sure what I will do yet with that.

Might use metal as this is a work truck as well as my hobby. Easy to slide large tool bags in and out. However rubber might be an option to.

Few pics of the rig.

Looks like you have a lot of fun with your rig! West coast winter wheeling at it's best! That is a nice looking rear bumper, any more info you can pass along about it would be appreciated.
So you are going to build the inner platform without removing the second row seating?

The rear bumper was built by Geoff(604) 290-4321. Does a good weld.

Gonna keep the rear seats for work. And if you fold them down and put the head rest down first. My storage will be at the same height. So if i choose to sleep in the truck I can extend the storage flat. Got a mattress that fits perfectly in there. Just the humidity is terrible sleeping in the truck.

You can tell Geoff that is really fine fab work. Have you hit it hard? I have to finish the corner of my build and these pics are
perfect to help me finish it off. I was planning on something similar, just haven't got to it yet.

Hit the right corner pretty hard. The 60 has a huge Arse! now the fuel tank door scrapes a little on the side bar. Bumpers not perfect, but I hope I won't drop the rear again that hard.

Here is the route I went with exhaust. Still to finish corner protection

It wouldn't take much gusset to add support to the flat bar, since it is in place already.

In the box brass connectors and hose comes in 3/8 sizes. Too small.

Factory hose is 1/2 inch.

Bought two brass fittings for a 1/2 in hosefrom new line hose & fittings

Fittings n68011-10-06 4.15$ each
Hose nl505-10 3.28$ per foot (I got 6 ft)

Then 2 stainless gear clamps.

A440f

TC would lock up, shutter a little at 60kms then a lot. Result needed a new TC. Way I was told to do a test is to shift into third while the vibrations occur. If the vibs go away then that's a good indication the TC is the culprits.

A440f had 240,000kms on it before the update.

Once the tranny was dropped and opened everything else was in ship shape. Other than the vibration getting worse I had clean quick shifts.

Ordered directly from wholesale automatic transmission is auz.

1/ Heavy Duty "Extreme" Recalibrated Valve Body with Lock-Up in both 3rd and 4th gears

2/Heavy Duty "Billet" High Output & High Efficiency Torque Convertor

"Freight Via FedEx Air Economy at 32Kg’s is $466 Aus (insured)

There is a Fully Refundable Deposit of $450 Aus until we receive your Valve Body back here at Wholesale Automatics at your own cost by any means of Freight."

The rig has a new vitality about it. Getting efficient power from the engine to the wheels has increased the driving pleasure. Further more the valve body has been awesome on long hills while keeping the tranny temps at an optimal.

ATEB in burnaby installed the TC and valve body.
