Your welds are so nice. And so thoughtful of you and your 350 for bringing peace and love to the world.

I know right? I can't wait to hear its joyful song

Well I got the cross member welded in, the frame is finish welded, the tank is pressure tested and the mounting holes drilled and the capture nuts welded, tow hooks are drilled out and installed, brand new 9/16" drill bit is snapped...grrrr, good thing I had another, beer is drank, dogs are in, they don't like the thunder storm tonight, and the 2F is coming out tomorrow after I win the archery tournament I'm attending. I made a list of things to finish and it is two pages long.........bloody hell, and a picture of how to weld and drill a frame without lying on your back.

You seriously should start fabing and selling rear 45 sections.

Thanks man, I thought about it, but the shipping and price would make it unaffordable to most guys. I will provide a list of materials when I am done, then everybody can do it.

I remade the roof channel for my 59 Willy's wagon, thought about selling those too...

nothing fancy tonight, the 2F is out and going to be transplanted in another Alberta 45.

The choir is warming up..

Today I pulled the tranny/xcase out of my 40 and bolted it up to my new V8, then I swung that sumbitch over and threw it into my 45, like a boss. Check my flow. Unh. Trans is a 1973 SM 465 with a 1973 3spd case, this is a beautiful combo in a Cruiser with 4.10 gearing and 39 ish tires. Still have to do some fine adjustments to get it all kosher, but as of now that sumbitch is in er! Archery Elk opens Aug 26 and I want to take it hunting. The orchestra is making those awful warm up noises.

So much YES!!!!

While im a bit of a purist id rather see a turbo 3b go in it i can get behind this.

This what you mean by the sound right????

I have nothing against the B family of engines, I had one in my first Cruiser, a 78 BJ 40, and the fuel mileage is exceptional......and since a V12 Merlin is currently unavailable............can you imagine that? Personally there is nothing more enjoyable than a happy V8 bubbling away, then WHAM! WFO and winding it out with the 4 barrel howling like John Force. Happy memories right there, I grew up in the 80's with my air cover lid flipped over and my Kenwood deck sending Bon Jovi to my 6x9's.

Megadeth is bang on, although a little RATM fits too

s*** yah man!!!!!

Can beet the whine of a 6.6 duramax either haha. Took mine out for a rip to the golf course today. Ill be driving the LS2 trailblazer SS to the gym tonight haha.

If you're not careful 73 you're gonna have every sweet-potted honey in town checking your flow - unh - with that sweet symphony. If I wasn't such a pansy I'd run a 350 but I am, so no sumbitching here. You'll have to do it all for us. Ply on good choir, play on.

Thank you gents, nice to see other Cruiserheads have a refined sense of humor.

Today I got the engine 99%, tried to center the snout of the water pump on the rad, got it pretty close. Then tonight I decided I will move the rad over 1" to the passenger side and lower it 1.25" so I can center the fan. Then I wrapped the headers and had a coupla beers. unh

s***, why can't I say s***, how do I shut off the nannny? I can say Imma snatch that pussy and put it in a box...

Well.....................yesterday the 2F got adopted out :(:crybaby: I was really sad to see it go......NAH! just kidding, buhbye 600 lb anchor! These guys drove 6 hrs plus to pick it up and I wish them the best, still a good motor, just not for me, plus I showered them with left over parts I don't need anymore, Cruiser karma I reckon. Hope it all goes well for them, seemed like good guys.

Today I got the new motor situated and the mounts tacked, I also got the radiator moved so it is centered on the nose of the water pump, and I moved the bracket over to the drivers side and made a new line for the clutch slave, and since I was there I installed a new slave cylinder because I had one.
