Can any tell me if the 77 Series and Troppy frame (1990-1991) are the same width abeam the transmission and transfer case and would they share the same cross members in that area?

I would think so.... but thats not worth much. Assuming you are asking for purposes of a beefed up skid plate, I could go measure distances between mounting bolts for you if that would help?
I believe the only difference in our frames is the length behind the back wheels but as usual, I could be wrong.

Well that was way harder than I imagined haha
All Ive got are some really crappy photos. I can take the plate off and measure it tomorrow if no one has confirmed our dimensions are the same by then. Basic observations are that the big hump is off center of course to go around transfer case and it is more narrow in the front than it is in the rear to match the curve of the frame.

Now that I CAN confirm.
The chassis are all the same width in that area, but the crossmember is relevant to the 3 various gearbox lengths that they came with
