If anyone had been considering some camp ground work lights my friend got this light off amazon Amazon.com - https://amzn.to/4l49QyM it's a much cheaper alternative to the Devos light ranger. It's got 3 way pointing heads and also removable light portion. It worked great on our trip and I had a price alert set. It just dropped so I picked one up. There's a shorter version here. It worked nice for table side light for eating at night. It's dimmable and got cool and warm color LEDs. It's nice that it stands on its own. Packs down small enough. Easily moved out of the way.

I got the Husky version on sale. Like it a lot so far.
Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

the thing is that most of those resellers and manufacturers lie a great deal about lumens -although admittedly hard to measure well- so it's hard to compare lights.
I'm thinking about buying a super cheap generic light to go on my tools batteries (I like that approach better than a built-in one). It says 2,500 lumens. I'm expecting 500 and would be pleased with 1000....

I've no way of proving or disproving my light's 6200 lumens claim. What I can tell you is that when at 100% (can reduce lighting by 25% increments) it lights up an area big enough to easily be used for a remote desert racing pit. Which is exactly what I wanted it for.

6200 lumens is a lot. Off the top of my head, based on vague recollections that my 1000 lumens household bulbs are rated at about 10W, I would not be surprised if 6200 lumens sucks 3.5A out of an 18V battery or 5A out of a 12V battery. Or around an hour out of a typical tool battery.
