well nothing came off easy and I can say for sure that a 12 point 3/8” socket is no substitute for a 10mm and a hardware store multihead screwdriver is no substitute for an impact driver. I will sort out who gets what when I have a better internet connection. for now, I managed to get the following off:
4 window handles with donuts (one is missing end knob)
1 inner door handle with donuts (rest are seized fast)
1 outer door handle (ps front door) - not sure if anyone asked for it
3 of the 4 ice rink shaped rubber grommets under the vent windows on front doors (other one is gone)
one complete b pillar dome light assembly with an intact dome! (found on floor

)
rear ashtray (rusty inside and bent ouside but looks saveable)
dash ashtray (rusty inside)
all 4 rear seat to floor hinges (scissor hinges and front pin hinges)
gas pedal (a tad rusty and looks like a bike kick stand)
toyopet rear door handle assembly complete with gasket
one of the rear tiny disc reflectors without assembly
instrument speedo bezel and instruments complete
glovebox door with bolted on shifter instruction plate
glove box grab handle
both sun visors
transfer case shifter round knob end attached to broken shifter pole
stuff I can get with the right tools next time I’m here includes:
-heater (dang I forgot the part number but it is denso, has 3 controls above and is a box with a slight rounded front plus a black plastic tube part and a weird old fashioned open vent grate in the firewall under glovebox -- it also looks like there is a rear heater located under the ps seat ??)
-some or all of the interior canvas firewall skirt
-door panels except ps front
-dash switrches and lights (but most don’t look original and many seem nautical - I need a photo to know what should be there - is there a stock switch that says “light” or "room” or “W”?)
-rear view mirror (triangular mount on rectangular area so not sure if original and mirror is desilvered)
-rear tail light assemblies with intact but very warn gaskets (quite rusty as remains of lenses were full of h2o)
-rear disc assemblies and gaskets and second reflector disc
-rest of inner door handles (I hope)
-other dome light assembly (but no light)
-inner rear metal kick panels
-3 plates under each side of rear cargo windows, one to catch rear seat, other two maybe held the window slides?
-i could remove the hinge separating the upper and lower rea seats but it is welded to the lower seat frame so i would need to hacksaw it off
-upper tailgate mount on vertical frame of inner window for what looks like a strap (no straps anywhere in truck except a rotted piece of canvas in middle of rear seat)
-front cowl and hood
-yellow turn lenses (nobody asked so i left them - they look original to me)
-front vent windows and dials (very rusty)
-front very sharp up pointed pointy tow hooks (would they be stock??)
-I can try to get the vent between windshield and dash but there was dirt accumulated there and it is virtually rusted through - it does not look a flip up vent as in the photo. it is fixed with multiple narrow slits like the cowl on an 80 or a longer version of the floor vent in a house with a forced air furnace.
-there is one wiper arm with no blade assembly. I thought it was off a boat like a lot of other things on truck so I left it but looking at the photo above it could be the same thing as that
stuff you can forget about
-any other body parts - lots of bondo and no bottom on anything. scary to climb into truck!
-emblems (all gone)
-most rubber glass slides windows gaskets
-bumpers (rear is checkerplate - front looks like bent I beam to me)
-steering wheel (no centre piece and has a chip in it)
truck was originally red, then light blue then dark blue. x66,000 miles on odometer. gas pedal was disconnected and someone had connected up an outboard throttle box
I said before parts were free. After 5 hours work I have reconsidered. parts are instead virtually free. someone has to replace my in-laws' busted hardware store multidriver screwdriver

, and I would like to trade parts for very modest amounts of pb blaster, por-15, and auto-rx, none of which I can get in Canada. that said, I will instead accept something like an araco sticker most gladly

. I will send the stuff and you can inspect it and you can send me back some of these substances at your discretion or nothing if that’s what it turns out the part is worth

.
