Check now, or get your power tools out and be prepared to cut. The middle rack feet trap water, and rust the bolt heads off completely. It was nasty! My rig has lived in GA and has ZERO rust. It hasn't rained a lot here in the past few months, so this has been standing water for several months, if not years. Here are the photo's of my rack mounts while preparing to install my new roof rack. What a pain in the ass trying to Dremel the bolts out!

Interesting. I did not have that issue when I took my rack off

I didn't have that problem either, but the middle mount bolts were the harder ones to remove.

I had the same problem on one of my middle feet. I removed pretty much the same way.

No problem here either - didn't remove OEM rack until at least 10 years.

Which rack are you going with?

I've pulled my front and rear feet and no trouble. No middle feet on my truck.

Wow!
And all this time I've been wishing mine HAD the middle feet! I guess I'm better off without them - until I can afford a real rack.
Nice job getting them out!
